MUSEUMS

Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum, on the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation between Naples and Fort Lauderdale, features 5,000 square feet of exhibits of Seminole artifacts, a five-screen orientation theater and a living village with tribal craftsmen. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Admission is $6 for adults, and $4 for students and senior citizens. Children under 6 are admitted free. (863) 902-1113.

Florida Museum of Natural History, in the University of Florida Cultural Plaza, SW 34th Street and Hull Road, Gainesville. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Seminole Okalee Indian Village, Hollywood Reservation, 5845 S. State Road 7, Fort Lauderdale, (954) 792-1213. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Admission is $10 for adults; $7 for seniors and children 6 to 12; and 5 and under are free. The village includes the Okalee Museum, featuring the history of Seminole patchwork and two galleries of paintings, and a montage of photographs of Seminole life in the 1900s. Okalee also features wildlife shows and craft demonstrations.
